Impenetrable blue black colour with a narrow purple rim. Complex and finely wrought, the aroma shows classic Taylor elegance and balance. A dense core of complex pure fruit, aromas of blackberries and cassis, is wrapped in a fragrant aura of violets. Resinous notes and subtle hints of liquorice and black coffee emerge as the port opens up. On the palate, tight linear tannins provide a firm framework.
