How to get there?
There are a couple of ways to get to the wineries in the Douro Valley.
The easiest and very scenic way is by car - from either Spain or inland Portugal.
You can also visit the Douro by train from Porto’s central train station.
The third and beautiful option (yet a bit more expensive) is by boat. -
Can I buy wines at the Wineries?
Most Quinta’s offer their wines for sale. They might even let you taste some hidden gems if you are there. A very nice way of bringing back home your precious memories!
